Cooperation and support from the Zug economy
Since its foundation in 1964, FMZ has worked closely with Zug's businesses. This proximity to the economy is also reflected by the fact that FMZ works together with the Department of Economic Affairs via a service agreement and is a member of the Zug Chamber of Commerce.
A large proportion of the clients of FMZ come to Zug as employees.
Close contact with the business community enables the FMZ to tailor its services - such as the "Grüezi Switzerland" event, which serves to raise awareness of the cultural differences between Switzerland and the respective home countries - specifically to the needs of individual companies. Companies interested in such an event tailored to their needs are welcome to contact FMZ for further information. For over 50 years, the Zug business community has supported that part of the FMZ's work that is not financed by the service agreement with the canton and the Zug municipalities with a contribution of CHF 25 per foreign employee or with a flat-rate contribution.
