Our aim is to inform people as soon as possible after their arrival in Zug and thereby provide the opportunity for them to independently take advantage of existing services.
Our consultations are oriented to the existing individual resources and concerns of clients, whilst considering the requirements of society.
The services of FMZ are available to migrants resident or working in the canton of Zug with an official residence permit, their partners, and companies with foreign employees. For those who do not fulfil these criteria, we are able to provide the contact details of the relevant authorities and organisations.
The 30-minute consultations are available in many languages.
Consultations apply to questions relevant to all areas of daily life: employment and residential law, rental issues, social security, education, family matters etc. When language and subject allow, referrals to the relevant authorities will be made.
FMZ also offer German course consultations when required. Certified Goethe examiners are available for a fee to assess the existing level of German knowledge.
Consultation fees
Income-dependent fee per person of CHF 10.- to
CHF 20.- for a 30 minute appointment (second appointment for free).
