On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the city of Zug will once again come alive with music, dance, culinary specialties, and encounters from around the world at the Festival of Nations.
People from over 140 countries live in Zug. This marks the third time the Festival of Nations has been held. You are cordially invited to embark on a culinary and cultural journey around the world along the Zug Lake Promenade and experience the diversity of Zug’s population.
Organized by the Zug Migration Office (FMZ) in collaboration with more than 30 cultural and migration associations, this unique festival brings together people from a wide variety of backgrounds who live in the canton of Zug. It is a joyful celebration of diversity, dialogue, and community spirit.

The “Festival of Nations” is a free and open event that welcomes families, friends, and visitors of all ages. In 2023, around 20,000 people took part in the festivities—making it one of the liveliest cultural events in Zug.
